Goodbye and Thank You to Angus and Kelsey

As the semester draws to an end, amongst the mid-season celebrations and Christmas festivities, we are required to say goodbye to two departing players.
This is always one of the hardest things to do as a team, not wanting to see anyone go, but it is also filled with excitement to see the amazing things our players will get up to next.
This semester we say goodbye to Angus Armstrong and Kelsey Norris, both have contributed so much to this team in very different ways. Angus joined the team in 2015, on a year abroad from UC Santa Barbra but he then decided to transfer to St. Andrews full time. He has been such an important part of the team for those two and a half years. He served as captain in the 2016/17 season and has consistently been the men’s team top goal scorer. He has also served as social rep and played a huge role in welcoming in new freshers and making everyone feel welcome and included. It’s going to be very strange without Angus next semester, not only as it will be a lot quieter, but he is going to be sorely missed both in and out the pool.
Our next goodbye goes to Kelsey, a JSA from the University of Richmond. The amount Kelsey has managed to contribute in just one semester at the university is truly unbelievable and a testament to her kind, unassuming and selfless nature. Kelsey simply makes everyone happier, she is always light-hearted but serious when need be and brightens the mood for everyone in whatever situation she is in. We are going to miss her so much next semester but we are all so excited to see her become a brilliant doctor and achieve so many amazing things.
Thank you both so much for everything you have done for Saints Water Polo and know that Saints Water Polo will be cheering you on wherever you end up next!
